Michael Anthony Barnett

Michael Anthony Barnett, 51, passed away, Saturday, February 21, 2015.

Michael was born February 25, 1963 in Halifax County to William Cecil and Jo Anne Carver Barnett. Michael was a fine man, who was very out-going. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cooking. Michael was also very loving and caring. He is preceded in death by his grandparents D.A. and Pauline Green Barnett; and William E. and Beulah Ethel Carver; and a number of aunts and uncles. In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by his brother William Cecil Barnett, Jr. and wife Shanda of Raleigh; and his sister Zoe L. Hough and husband Woody of Pinehurst. He is also survived by 3 nephews; 1 niece; and a number of friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service with Rev. Michael Little officiating.
