Merri Melodi Love, age 44, of Greenville, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2026.

Melodi was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia “Ginger" Tucker, and her grandparents, J.W. Love and Eva Allen Love.

She is survived by her daughter, Killian "Alease" Love; her son, Pedro "Jayden" Palacios; her father, Jay Winfred Love; her sisters, Christie Keeter (Robbie) and Lacey Love; and her nieces and nephews of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina.

No two people know another person in exactly the same way. Those who knew Melodi each knew a different part of her, shared different chapters with her, and hold memories that are uniquely their own. Perhaps one of the truest things that can be said about any life is that we are remembered differently by each person who knew us. Melodi leaves behind many stories, many memories, and many versions of a life that cannot be captured in only a few words.
