Meredith Burchett Adams

Meredith Burchett Adams, 86, died July 4, 2022 in his Halifax home.

Mr. Adams was born in Nash County on July 13, 1935, the son of Theophelus and Annie Lee Burchett Adams.   He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, David Eugene Adams; and also by several brothers and sisters.

Mr. Adams was an Aircraft Maintenance Technician in the US Air Force, from which he retired following 20 years of service.  He enjoyed reading and fishing, and was a member of Trinity Pentecostal Holiness Church  in Halifax.

Survivors include his wife, Meltha Roberson Adams; sons, James Michael Hale and  Ronald Hale; daughter, Ramona Solomon; grandchildren, Justin Hale, Brandon Hale, Wesley Brown, Haley Solomon and Jamie Lee; 5 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lela Strickland; daughter, Gina Dickens and children, John Mark, Ethan, and Marshall Dickens.

The memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Meredith B. Adams will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Trinity Pentecostal Holiness Church, 4235 Aurelian Springs Rd, Halifax, NC.  Military honors will be provided by the US Air Force detail from Seymour Johnson Air Force Base.
