McCoy Blair Moore, 69, of Roanoke Rapids passed away Sunday, June21, 2026 at ECU Health North.

McCoy was born November 2, 1956, in Halifax County to the late Elec McCoy Moore and Charlotte Hardy Moore. He was also preceded in death by his sister Derisa Aquila Moore,

McCoy is survived by his sisters, Melissa Harris and her husband Thad and Delisha Moore Turner and her husband Michael.

His family would like to give special thanks to his caregivers, Clintonia Boyd and Dorothy Whitehead.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Community Church of Christ with Rev. Randy Martin and Rev. Earl Cain officiating. Burial will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery in Weldon. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service.
