Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Millen

Roanoke Rapids-

Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Millen, 73, died Wednesday, October 18, 2017, at Nash UNC Hospital in Rocky Mount.

Betty was born in Halifax County, November 17, 1943, to the late James L. and Adele Davis Wood.  She was a long-time member of Little Country Baptist Church and loving mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert “Bob” Millen.

Surviving are her son, Christopher “Kris” E. Kling and wife Darlene of Roanoke Rapids and her grandchildren, Erika Jordan Kling and Ronnie Wayne Sanderson.

Rev. James Jenkins will conduct a graveside service Sunday, October 22, 2017, in Cedarwood Cemetery at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service prior to graveside services from 12:30-1:30 pm.
