Marvin Allen

Marvin “Little Jack” Junior Allen, 88, of Gaston, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023, in ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie. Mr. Allen was born on July 23, 1934, in Northampton County, the son of the late Rosa Velvet Ferguson and Marvin Vanderbilt Allen. He was also preceded in death by his wife Peggy Brantley Allen and his two sons: Darren James Allen and Tony Wayne Allen.
Mr. Allen served our country as a member of the United States Army.
Surviving include his son Marvin Wesley Allen and many other extended family members.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 8, 2023, in Cedarwood Cemetery with Rev. Randy Martin officiating. Friends may sign the online register by visiting www.hockadayfs.com.
