Mark Elias Mountford, 45, died Tuesday, May 1, 2012 in Halifax Regional Medical Center.

Mark was born June 13, 1966 in Nash County to Frank Mountford and Mary Elias Mountford.

Surviving are his parents, Frank Mountford and Mary Elias Mountford of Weldon; one son, Dustin Mountford of Roanoke Rapids, and one brother, Michael Moutford of Roanoke Rapids. Also surviving are several aunts and uncles.

Friends and family are welcomed to view and pay their respects from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service where a memorial service will be held in the chapel, Friday, May 4, 2012 at 1:00 pm. Rev. Randy Martin will officiate.
