Mark Alan Miles

Mark Alan Miles, 58, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at ECU Health North.

Mark was born October 4, 1964, in Halifax County to the late Raymond Miles and Doris Fisher Miles. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Valerie “Cricket” Miles.

Mark loved NASCAR, dirt track racing and the Green Bay Packers and anybody who pulled for them. He also worked for Little & Jenkins as an Engine Technician.

Mak is survived by his wife, Doris C. “Pickles” Miles of the home; his brother, Carlton R. Miles of Roanoke Rapids; his niece, Michelle M. Garriss of Roanoke Rapids; his great nephew, Dr. Mark Jones of South Carolina; his great niece, Maecy Garriss of Roanoke Rapids and several aunts and uncles.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday, July 17, 2023, in the chapel of Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
