Mark Harvey Meadows

Mark Harvey Meadows, 69, died at his home Saturday, November 13, 2021.

Mr. Meadows was born in Edenton, NC, August 9, 1952, son to Rose Katona Meadows and the late Harvey Meadows, Jr. Everyone he met or encountered said he had such an infectious smile and Big Laugh. When Mr. Meadows was not working with Georgia Pacific or spending time with his family, you could find him with his second family at 8 ^th Street Dart Room or at Hux’s Billiards. He will truly be missed by many. Preceding him in death is his father, Harvey Mark Meadows.

Surviving is his wife, Jamie Meadows of the home; daughter, Lindsey Rowland and husband, Jason; son, Marty Jones and wife, Joy, all of Roanoke Rapids and sister, Julie Tarascio and husband, Jack, along with their children, Jean, John, and Mike, all of Virginia; grandchildren, Mark, Atalee, Alexis, Carter, Logan, Josie, Cash and Gabriel. Also surviving, his good friend, Dennis Matthews.

Mr. Meadows will be cremated and will have a graveside service Friday, November 19, 2021, in Cedarwood Cemetery at 2pm.
