Margie E. Brigman, 99, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, October 29, 2026.

Ms. Brigman was born on July 5, 1927 in Pitt County, the daughter of the late John & Charlotte Elks, and was the widow of the late Dolan Brigman. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Paula Brigman and her brother Jay Elks.

Left to cherish her memory is her son Jack Brigman (Teresa), step grandson’s Shane Davis (Jaimie), Dale Hux (Molly), Brandon Hux (Barbara), and her step great grandkids, Dorothy, Gunnar, Beau, Brandon, Austin, Bryce, Holden, Hendrix, Seth, and Evan.
