Margaret Elaine Passmore Turner

Margaret Elaine Passmore Turner, 78 of 629 Dog Pound, Halifax, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Thursday June 5, 2025.  Margaret was born on December 30, 1946, in Halifax County. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Edwin Turner, her parents Horace Greely and Ora May Passmore, sisters Frances Mead Godwin, Betty Sue Castle, Faye Passmore Bohannon, brothers Horace, Forrest, Morris and Kyle Passmore.

She is survived by her daughter Sherry Johnson (Christopher), sons Jason Holliday (Odell), Robert “Rock” Turner (Vanessa), grandchildren Nicole Price, Justin Turner, Jarret Johnson, Spencer Turner and Brandon Williams, great grandchildren Stephanie, Natalie, Haylie Hale.

Margaret loved to make crafts and crocheting; she was Baptist by Faith.

There will be a graveside memorial service on Wednesday June 11, 2025, at 11:00am in Crestview Memorial Cemetery, Pastor Jeremy Kobernat will preside.
