Lynn Walton

Lynn Walton, 56, of Roanoke Rapids passed away on January 12, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loved ones.  Lynn was born August 28, 1968, in Martinsville County, VA to Faye Moseley Dunlow of Roanoke Rapids and the late Leonard Dowell. She also was preceded in death by her sister Wendy Byrum.

Lynn was an amazing person to everyone around her, to know Lynn was to love her. Lynn was a teller at First Citizens Bank for 16 years, where she gained memorable friendships with her customers. She enjoyed the beach and spending time outside with her flowers. Lynn was a good wife of 12 years, and an even better “momma”.

Lynn is survived by her husband Brad Walton, her daughter Kallie Barnes, her stepson Logan Walton, her brothers Daryl Dunlow and Brian Dunlow, and her mother Faye Dunlow, all of Roanoke Rapids.
