Mary Lurleen Walker Wilson

May 31, 1928- April 16, 2020

Lurleen Walker Wilson, 91, passed peacefully at home on April 16, 2020.  She was born May 31, 1928 in Littleton, NC to the late Leonard and Lena Jenkins Walker.

After working in retail sales for several years she returned to the home and filled her life with farm work, raising a garden and then babysitting children for the next 40+ years.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bryant Malton Wilson, daughter Gwen Wilson Childers  and her son Donald Malton Wilson.

She is survived by her son Darrell Wilson and his wife Linda; son-in-law George Childers; Grandchildren, Kent Childers, Jennifer Childers, Justin Wilson and Travis Wilson;.  Great-grandchildren John Bauguess, Emily Childers, Nathan Childers, Lily Lyall and Jay Lyall.

Private graveside rites will be held at Crestview Memorial Cemetery, with Pastor Stan Lewis presiding.
