Lourdes Sabey Wilson, 82, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 in her home. Mrs. Wilson was born on February 28, 1944 in Honolulu, HI, the daughter of the late Lucinda Aldueso and John Yonting Sabey, and was the widow of the late Marvin “Marty” Edward Wilson. She was also preceded in death by her brother Patrick Sabey.

Surviving include her sons: Mike Wilson and his wife Debbie, Shane Wilson and his wife Hayde, Toby Wilson and his wife Deni, and Travis Wilson and his wife Kay; her brothers Jonathan Sabey, Christopher Sabey, Dennis Sabey, Nathan Sabey, and Christopher Pang, her sisters Cecilia Cruz, Katherine Cadiente, and Lisa Namoc; her grandchildren Zachary Lance Wilson, Chloe Danielle Wilson, Phoebe Kate Wilson, Alexis Nicole Wilson, and Toby Tyler Wilson, Jr.; her grandchildren Auhsey “J.J.” Wilson and Auhni “Rosie” Wilson, her special niece Terry Wilson and her children Mallory and Derrick; and her special dog Poppy.

A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 28, 2026 in Cedarwood Cemetery with Rev. Randy Martin officiating. Friends may sign the online register by visiting www.hockadayfs.com. Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service is serving the Wilson family during this time.
