Louise Turner Byrd, 92, of Littleton, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 in Liberty Commons in Weldon. Mrs. Byrd was born on January 30, 1934, the daughter of Mary Hunter and the granddaughter of Lille S. and John B. “Jack” Turner. She was the widow of Milton Lend Byrd. She was also preceded in death by her son Donald Ray Byrd, her grandson Anthony B. Byrd and her granddaughter Jessica Byrd.

Surviving include her daughters: Anita Byrd Taylor (Jerry) of Holly Springs and Brenda Byrd Painter (Ray) of Belmont; her grandchildren: April Taylor Gumaer, Kevin Taylor, Charles Painter, and Christy Painter Orr, and her 9 great grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service with Revered Tom Tatum officiating.
