Lottie Smith Edenbeck

Lottie Smith Edenbeck 73 of Roanoke Rapids, NC passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday June 17, 2024.  Lottie was born on October 9, 1950, in Halifax County. She is preceded by her parents Roy Smith and Hattie King Edenbeck, her brother Henry Clay Smith and her sisters Mary Tucker and Joyce Reed.

Lottie is survived by her husband Roger Lee Edenbeck, her daughter Patricia Hedspeth (Terry), sons Robert Edenbeck (Michelle) and Thomas Edenbeck (Jessica), grandchildren Jessica Hedspeth (Chris), Robyn Spence (Riley), Hunter Edenbeck (Lula), Kaylyn Hedspeth, Jasmine King (Jason), Nathaniel Edenbeck, Jacob Edenbeck, step grandchildren MJ Webb, Joseph Webb, Kali Brown and Nathan King, great grandchildren Rayne Spence, Rhlyn Spence, Emmy King, Logan King and Starla Edenbeck, and step great grandchildren Nathan, Alexis, Brianna, Valerie, Cameron, Carter, Lainey, Octavia and Lilianna.

She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ where she served as a Sunday school teacher. She loved everyone in the community, and she would go without helping others in need.

The family would like to thank Genvita Hospice, especially Mandy and Baylee.

Visitation will be Thursday June 20, 2024, 6:00pm to 8:00pm, funeral service will be held on Friday June 21, 2024, at 2:00pm at Hockaday Chapel, and interment will follow the service at Reed Family Cemetery at 1603 Gasburg Road Brodnax Virginia.  Pastor Rick Jordan and Jeremy Kobernat will be presiding over the services.

Family will receive visitors and friends at 1013 Franklin Street at various times before and after servcies.
