Logan Blake Finch

Logan Blake Finch, born June 28, 2010, tragically left his temporary home at 4548 Big John Store Rd. in Pleasant Hill. Logan received his angel wings and ascended into heaven with our Lord and Savior on June 8, 2013. Logan is preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Jesse Bryant and great-grandmother Adrienne C. Ivey.

He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Beth Byrum and fianc, Shawn Smith; brother, Landyn Finch; sister, Ryleigh Smith, and very special cousin, Brianna Morris, of the home; father, Robert Boo Boo Finch of Emporia, VA; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Jennifer Groves Byrum, of the home; paternal grandparents, Ricky Noblin and Connie Finch, of Brunswick, VA; great-grandmother, Sarah Bryant of Halifax; great-grandfather, Lloyd Sonny Ivey of Roanoke Rapids; great-grandparents, Joe and Brenda Byrum of Margarettsville; a special mention of Patrick Dickie Smith of Lake Gaston and Carol Irby of Roanoke Rapids, who are parents of Shawn Smith. Also surviving are many special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service, who is handling arrangements, from 7-9 pm and other times at the home.

Graveside services will be conducted by Rev. Ricky Barnes Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 3:00 pm at the Byrum Family Cemetery located at the home.
