Linda Carroll Hargrove

Linda Carroll Willis Hargrove, 80, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024, in ECU Medical Center in Greenville.  Mrs. Hargrove was born on January 4, 1944, in Halifax County, the daughter of the late Mary Alice Dixon Willis and Larry Francis Willis.  She was also preceded in death by her husband Albert Roscoe Hargrove, her brothers Larry Covington Willis, Francis Wayne Willis, and her sister Joann Willis Greene.

Surviving include her nieces Julie Willis Moon and husband Quitman of Louisiana, Angela Willis Monroe and husband Charles of Charlotte, and Deborah Blackwell of Saxapahaw, a sister in law Priscilla Ann Willis of Louisiana, many other extended family members, Special best friend Linda Fox of RR and treasured brother in law Raymond Hargrove of Littleton, her great nieces and great nephews.

She enjoyed her cat Bae Bae, feeding the birds, reading & watching murder mysteries.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 in Cedarwood Cemetery with Rev. Randy Martin officiating.  The family will receive friends prior to the funeral beginning at 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service.  Friends may sign the online register by visiting www.hockadayfs.com.
