Linda Jones Banty

Linda Jones Banty, 62, of Roanoke Rapids died January 4, 2020 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

Linda was born in Halifax County on December 3, 1957, a daughter of Johnny Turner and Shirley Ann Jones.  She was a retired customer service representative for various businesses in the area.

Linda is survived by her husband, Jesse Banty; sons, Brandon (Bethany) of Roanoke Rapids, and Timothy of Milwaukee, WI; a sister, Donna Fodor of Roanoke Rapids; brothers, Mike Turner, James Turner and David Jones, all of Halifax County; grandchildren, Jentry Banty, Timothy A.  "TT" Banty, Sierra Gibbs and Angel Kirkland; and a great-grandchild, Madison.

The family will receive friends at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service from 6 - 8 pm Thursday (01/09/20).

The funeral service will be held at 2 pm Friday in the chapel of Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service by Rev. Richard Newton.  Cremation will follow.
