Lillie Grey Horton Wells

Lillie Grey Horton DeBruhl Pruden Wells passed away on May 16, 2011, at home after a brief battle with cancer.

She was a longtime member of Quankie Baptist Church and worked for WPTM Radio Station and retired from Farm Bureau Insurance.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Arthur Robert Horton and Margaret Slaughter Horton.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Charles Wells; one daughter, Terri Temple and husband, Herman; four sons and their wives: DeLaine DeBruhl and Lisa, Keith DeBruhl and Rhonda, Bryan DeBruhl and Sherri, Billy DeBruhl and Sue; eleven grandchildren: Megan, Emily, Hunter, Benjamin, Katie, Josh, Corie, Scott, Taylor, Lauren and Mariah; one step-daughter, Brenda Wells;three sisters and one brother, Bessie Harrell, Arthur Lee Horton, Jane Daniel and Linda Bristow; and many other beloved family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 19, 2011, at Quankie Baptist Church at 2:00 P.M. conducted by Rev. Jerry Boyd, Rev. Grady Dickens and Pastor Megan Brown. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 18, 2011, from 7 8:30 P.M. at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service which is handling the arrangements..
