Leora Pulley Shellburne

Leora Pulley Shelburne, 81, of Pleasant Hill passed away Monday, August 15, 2022, at her home.

Leora was born December 18, 1935, in Halifax County to the late Frank James Pulley and Eunice Rose Crowder Pulley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lee Shelburne, Sr. and a brother, Leonard T. Pulley.

Leora loved going to yard sales and auctions.

Leora is survived by her son, Harold L. Shelburne, Jr. and his wife Anita of Emporia, VA; her daughter, Kathy Butler of Pleasant Hill; her brother, Loftin M. Pulley and his wife Cynthia of Pleasant Hill; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Louise Wilkins and her husband Roy Wilkins; sister-in-law, Sarah Pulley.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 18, 2022, at Crestview Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Matthew Reider officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 8:30 P.M. Wednesday August 17, 2022, at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service.
