L. C. King

Linwood “L.C.” Clyde King, 62, of Roanoke Rapids passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at his home.

L.C. was born July 29, 1957 in Halifax County to the late Herbert Wilson King, Sr. and Lula Mae Daniel King. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Michael D. King, Dennis R. King and Winky Bullock; his sisters, Judy Johnson and Jean Mills.

He is survived by his children, Michael Hicks of Fuquay Varina, Heather Michelle King and Amber Sue King both of Roanoke Rapids; a very special person in his life, Billie Hicks; his brothers, Donald “Rooster” Bullock, Wilson King, Jr., Bill King and David Lynn King; his good friends, Jerry Taylor and Vicky Peterson.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, May 17, 2020 at Prospect Church Cemetery in Ebony, VA with Rev. Tammy Whitby and Rev. Donald Faucette officiating.
