Kayden Terrell Jefferson

Roanoke Rapids-

Kayden Terrell Jefferson, born September 13, 2013, infant son of Terrell Bruce Kat Jefferson and Jennifer Leigh Boyd of Roanoke Rapids, was called home to be with the Lord on January 21, 2014. Kayden is preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Mabel King.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his brothers, JaQuan Watson, Javon Watson, and Joshua Watson, all of the home, Terrell and MarQual Watson; one sister, Dasheen Watson of Warrenton; maternal grandparents, Denise Boyd and husband, Jack, of Roanoke Rapids, and Joel Boyd and wife, Paula, of Gaston; paternal grandparents, Eva Jefferson and husband, Lawrence; Claude Clanton of Maryland; maternal great-grandparents, Mitchell King of Littleton, and Daphine Sledge and husband, Buddy of Littleton. Also surviving are several uncles, aunts, cousins, and special friends to the family, Kimberly Munn, Shirley Williams, and Michelle Taylor.

The family will receive friends at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Wednesday, January 29, 2014 from 5-7 pm. A memorial service will be held in the chapel at Hockaday, Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 1:00 pm.
