Judy Lynn Taylor

Judy Lynn Taylor, 60 of 819 Roanoke Avenue died Monday, May 26, 2014 at her home.

Ms. Taylor was born January 5, 1954 in Wilson County, NC to Joseph Taylor and Hazel Cobb Taylor.She was preceded in death by her father.

She worked at Champion International for 10 years and was a loving Nannie and friend.

Ms. Taylor is survived by her mother: Hazel Taylor; her daughter: Christie Whitby and her husband Johnny; her granddaughter: Kellie Whitby all of Roanoke Rapids; two sisters: Sarah Taylor and Martha Bradshaw; several nieces and nephews and her lifelong special friends: Ann Perdue, Lisa S. Harris, Patsy Price Barnes and Rhonda Wallace.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday at Cedarwood Cemetery in Weldon with Rev. Randy Martin officiating.The family will receive friends Thursday, May 29, 2014 from 7:00 8:30 P.M. at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service and other times at the home of her daughter, 1020 West 8thStreet.
