Judith Diane Blanton Passmore

Judith Diane Blanton Passmore, 67 went home to be with the Lord Monday, October 14, 2013. She fought a hard battle with diabetes and strokes.

Mrs. Passmore was preceded in death by her husband: Kyle Passmore; her father: Noah Blanton; her brother: Donnie Ray Blanton; and her nephew: Kenny Blanton.

She attended William R. Davie School and worked at the Nanny Day Care for children and Granny II Donut Shop. She loved her friends at Guardian Care Nursing Home.

She is survived by her mother: Rosa Sadler Blanton; her brother: Edward Wilson Blanton; her nephews: Donnie Ray Blanton, Jr. and Rev. Barry Blanton; her niece: Renee Brown; four great nephews; her sister-in-law: Brenda Blanton; her fianc and caregiver: Rat Ovid Carroll and his sister: Etta Stansbury; her aunt: Blanche Rose DeBerry. She also has a number of cousins.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service with Rev. Barry Blanton officiating. Burial will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 8:30 P.M. Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at the funeral home and other times at the home of her aunt, 505 Pinecrest Avenue..
