Joseph Craig Mccormick

Joseph Craig McCormick of Jackson, NC passed away peacefully at Northampton Nursing and Rehabilitation in Jackson on Friday January 19, 2024.  Joseph was born on August 19, 1947, in Clarksville, Virginia.  He was preceded in death by his parents George Lee and Thelma Hoover McCormick, and his wife Kathy.

Joseph is survived by his sister Brenda (Guy) Shaw and his daughters Jean (Josh) Arvay of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Carolyn McCormick of Woodbridge, Virginia.

Joseph served in the Untied States Army and as a police officer. He enjoyed photography and Scottie dogs.

The family will hold a private service at a later time.
