Johnny Wayne Coggins

Johnny Wayne Coggins, 75 of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at Wilson Health and Rehabilitation surrounded by family on Thursday June 12, 2025.  Johnny was born on August 28, 1949, in Halifax County North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents Harvey and Mittie Coggins, brothers Harvey Coggins and Jimmy Coggins, his sister Anne Hux.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years Vicki, his daughter Tori Brown and her husband Rick Brown,  his fur babies Lexz, Zoe, Livi, Miss Kitty, his donkey Levi and goats Emma and Clovis.

Johnny was a loving husband and father; he served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War, retired from the paper mill and loved to work in his shop building Hot Rods and Rat Rods.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
