Johnnie Barzelliar 'Jb' Hux

Johnnie Barzelliar J. B. Hux, 82, of 63 Beaconsdale Lane, Newport News, Virginia, died Thursday, March 25, 2010, at his home.

Mr. Hux was born August 2, 1927, to the late Sterling A. and Bertha Clare Warren Hux, and was also preceded in death by his wife, Middie Ann Underhill Hux; sisters: Alice Louise Hux and Betty Lou Moseley, and his brothers: Cecil and S. A. Hux. He is survived by his daughters: Johnnie Sue Hux, Brenda Machia and husband, Larry, and Kaye Hartung; his brothers: Albert Hux and wife, Mary, of Roanoke Rapids, and Herman Hux of Newport News, Va.;his sisters: Nell Bailey and Hazel Dickens of Roanoke Rapids; grandchildren: Deborah King of Roanoke Rapids, Brenda Sue and Rachel Evilsizer of Newport News, VA; and great-grandchildren: Stacey and Laryn King and Bryce Evilsizer. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 27 , 2010, at 11:00 A.M. at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service, conducted by Billy Meinsen, Minister. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 26, at the funeral home from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M. and other times at 705 Golf Course Road, Littleton.
