John Gerald Tripp

John Gerald Tripp, 45, of 304 Bush Court, Roanoke Rapids, died at Pitt County Memorial Hospital, Greenville, Tuesday, September 21, 2010.

He was born October 7, 1964, to the late George Tripp and Linda Lee Tripp, who survives. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Randy Ray Tripp.

Besides his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Dawn Marie Tripp, of Roanoke Rapids; his aunt, Ruby Gregory and his uncle Philip Lee and his wife, Betty, of Roanoke Rapids; his sister-in-law: Isabel Tripp of Hampton, Virginia; his cousins: Bobby, Wayne Thomas and Shannon Gregory, and Phillip, Jr., Brenda, Donna and Leon Lee, Jr. of Roanoke Rapids; his grandchildren: Rhiannon and Michael Manning and Ayden Achee; and his special friends , Mary Ann Davis and Mark Joyner.

Funeral services will be held at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service on Saturday, September 25, 2010, at 2:00 P. M. conducted by Catherine Hale, Minister. Burial will follow in Crestview Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 24, 2010, from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M. at the funeral home, and other times at 306 Bush Court, Roanoke Rapids.
