John Wesley Hamilton

John Wesley Hamilton, 43, of Collier St. in Roanoke Rapids died Friday, Jan. 24, 2020 in Roanoke Rapids.

John was born Aug. 16, 1976 in Madisonville, KY, the son of John William and Brenda Tomlinson Hamilton.  He was an electrician.

Survivors include his brother, Michael Scott Hamilton; sister, Belinda Hamilton Gillespie; nieces, Makenzie, Alijah, Skylar, Madison, Ashton; uncle, Kenny and Shari-Lee; fiancee’, Lyndy Rook and her children, “Pookie”, Ashley, Chelsey, Jake and Kaki; special children, Haleigh and Steven; and close friends, Treva, Ernest, Sr., and Ernest, Jr.; Mike and Mikey. “We will miss you, John Boy”.

Friends may visit with the family from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Friday at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service; at other times you may visit at the residence on Collier Street.
