John Robert Hamill, 66 of Weldon, North Carolina passed away peacefully on Monday April 7, 2025. John was born on January 27, 1959, in Union County Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Mary Hamill and brother Ronald Hamill.

He is survived by his aunts Vickie Wells (Rusty), Nancy Hand(David), Cathy Rightmyer, Shirley Rogerson, Doris Miller, uncles Bucky Hamill Jr, Mike Walker and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

John loved researching his family heritage, the railroad, and rockets.

The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
