John Junior Green

John Junior Green, 79 of Roanoke Rapids, NC passed away peacefully at ECU Health- North on Friday December 29, 2023.  John was born on August 24, 1944, in Halifax County.  He was preceded in death by his parents Johnny Oyla and Hattie Harlowe Green, his brother Oyla Thomas Green and his sister Lou Edna Vinson.

John is survived by his sisters Peggy Muse and Seretha Vinson and his nephews and nieces, Louie Vinson, David Vinson, Dennis Vinson, Mark Tucker, Jimmy Tucker, Olya Green, Thomas Green, Seretha Powell, Lisa Clippard, Patricia Bailey and Jean Fraizer.

Memorial service will be held on Tuesday January 23, 2024, at 1:00pm, visitation held be 12:00pm to 1:00pm.

Interment will be in Cedarwood Cemetery following the service.
