Joe Andrew Fowler

Joe Andrew Fowler, 62, of Roanoke Rapids died May 3, 2022 at Vidant North Hospital.

Joe was born March 17, 1960 in Halifax County, the son of David Charles Fowler, Sr., and Thelma Cutrell Fowler.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his niece, Crystal Fowler; and a half-brother, Larry Smith.

He had a great zest for life. Joe was always doing something; he loved to work and was a jack of all trades. He was a wizard with glue and duct tape.  Joe was a retired pipe fitter.

Survivors include his life partner, Ginny Smith; his daughter, Madison Fowler (Gage); his grandson, Brayden Tinkham; brother, David Fowler and his son, Matthew; half-brothers, Bruce Smith and his daughter, Bennie Smith and his 2 children; his wife, Jackie Fowler; and his beloved cat, Bobby.

Joe had requested to be cremated and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
