Jessie Wayne Newton Sr

Jessie Wayne Newton, Sr. 66, died Saturday, November 22, 2014 at his home.

Mr. Newton was born July 21, 1948 in Edgecombe County to the late Jennis D. and Bessie Virginia Greene Newton. Mr. Newton was an avid bass fisherman. He is survived by his wife Graciana C. Newton; his daughter Susan Newton Bryant and husband Jamie; his son Jesse W. Newton, Jr.; his brothers Earl Newton and wife Brenda; and James E. Newton and wife Katie; and his sister Bessie Faye Johnson. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Fresh Fire Assembly of God located at 46 Pittman Ct. Roanoke Rapids, with Pastor Chris Howerton and Pastor Randy Martin officiating.
