Jessica Lyne Byrd, 41 of Roanoke Rapids passed away Monday, October 28, 2024, at Washington Regional Medical Center.
Jessica was preceded in death by her father, Donald Ray Byrd; her brother, Anthony Blake Byrd; her maternal grandparents, Marvin and Doris Johnson.
Jessica is survived by her mother and stepfather, Cheryl Johnson Byrd Acrey and Steve Acrey; her niece, Oceana Gray Byrd; her uncle, Sheldon Johnson and his wife Vicky; her paternal grandparents, Milton and Louise Byrd.
Jessica worked at several fast-food restaurants in Roanoke Rapids.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, November 1, 2024, at Crestview Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Jim Cox officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 31, 2024, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service.
