Jeffrey Wayne Simmons, 42, of Roanoke Rapids passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at his home

Jeffrey was born July 27, 1978 to Lawrence E. Simmons and Jean Newsome Simmons. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence E. Simmons.

Jeffrey is survived by his mother, Jean N. Simmons of the home; his children, Tara Simmons of Littleton, Bryce Simmons and Skye Simmons both of St. John’s, FL; his brother Root Simmons and his wife Susan; his sister, Crystal Harp and her husband David both of Roanoke Rapids; his nieces and nephews, Andrew Hardin, Lauren Shapiro and her husband Joe, Kandace Treadway and her husband Joshua, Ridge Simmons and Shelby Newsome.

A private service to celebrate Jeffrey's life will be held this weekend.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service to assist with expenses.
