Jeff Allen Patton, 49, died Saturday, March 30, 2013 at his home on E. Chaloner Dr.

Mr. Patton was born October 6, 1963 in Hibbing, MN to Steve Patton and Peggy Gard Doust. After serving his country in the United States Air Force, he later became a Corrections Officer in the North Carolina Prison System. He loved hunting, fishing and the Miami Dolphins. In addition to his father, Mr. Patton is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Patton, and maternal grandparents Gard.

Surviving is his wife, Susan; his son and daughter, Steven and Stephanie Patton, all of the home, his mother, Peggy Doust of Brainard, MN and two half-sisters, Trina Cooper of Brainard, MN and Penny Hobbs, of Kentucky. Also surviving are a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Tuesday, April 2, 2013 from 7-9 pm.

Rev. D.A. Leonard will conduct funeral services at The First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Roanoke Rapids, Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 11:00 am with interment to follow in Cedarwood Cemetery.
