Jeanne Ellen Dodway

Jeanne Ellen Dodway, 67, died Wednesday, February 15, 2012 in Halifax Regional Medical Center.

Jeanne was born in Odgensburg, NY, June 12, 1944, to the late Russell Stevens and Anne Ober Stevens. She was a member of the Church of Christ and was a volunteer at Halifax Regional Medical Center and Meals on Wheels. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bradford Raymond Dodway.

Surviving are her two sons, Michael Dodway and wife, Melissa and Bradford Dodway, both of Roanoke Rapids. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Kyle, Sergio, Madison, Brittany, Zachery, Trevor and Gabriella Dodway.

The family will receive friends Friday, February 17, 2012 at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service from 7-8:30 pm.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 1:00 pm conducted by William Duncan. Interment will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery, Roanoke Rapids.
