Jean Acree Myrick

Prattville, Alabama-

Jean Acree Myrick, 76, a native of Roanoke Rapids, died Monday, May 9, 2016, at Prattville Baptist Hospital in Prattville, AL.

Jean was born, March 14, 1940, in Halifax County to the late Robert Lee Acree and Nettie Jones Acree. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Freddie Acree.

Surviving are her children, John C. Myrick and wife, Lori, of Wake Forest, NC, Susan M. Campbell and husband, Jim, of Prattville, AL and Jay C. Myrick of Littleton, NC and her grandchildren, Emily Goldsmith and husband, Cody, Jack Myrick, Julie Campbell, Meredith Campbell and Jimmy Campbell.

Dr. Richard Childress will conduct a graveside service Sunday, May 15, 2016, at Cedarwood Cemetery at 3:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312 or to a charity of ones choice.
