Jaxson Ryder Clay

Master Jaxon Ryder Clay, age 1, died unexpectedly on December 7, 2017.

Jaxson was born in Halifax County on December 23, 2015, the son of Henry Eugene “Jocko” Clay, Jr. and Brittany Nichole Labonte.  He was a kind and loving child that everyone loved.

Survivors include his parents; siblings, Liam, Brooklyn and Jade; grandparents, Becky Clay, Henry Clay, Angel Nelson and Robert Nelson; great-grandparents, Clifford Clay and Charlotte Powell; uncles and aunt, Patrick Hammack, Victoria Labonte and Jacob Nelson.

The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 pm Wednesday at Hockaday Funeral Home.  The service to celebrate his life will be held in the chapel of Hockaday Funeral Home at 1:00 pm Thursday, with Pastor Billy Howell presiding.
