James Jay Daniel Ketcham, 90, died Saturday, August 9, 2014, at Liberty Commons Nursing Home.
Mr. Ketcham was born in Portsmouth, VA May 28, 1924, to the late James Jay Daniel Ketcham, Sr. and Harriet Ashton Ketcham. He was a WWII veteran serving with the Army Air Corps and attended Rosemary Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Violet Sexton Ketcham; his sons, Robert and Steven Ketcham and numerous grandchildren.
A memorial service to celebrate Mr. Ketchams life will be held Saturday, August 23rd, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made to: Fisher House Foundation 111 Rockville Pike Suite 420 Rockville, MD 20850.
