Jacqueline Jackie May Shaw, 76, died Monday, August 31, 2015, at her home on Stack Powell Rd.
Jackie was born October 30, 1938, in Albany, Georgia to the late Plyler H. May and Emma Lou Frazier. She loved watching T.V., especially horror movies and going to Walmart. She dearly loved her son and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Nelson Shaw and daughter, Beverly Lynn.
Surviving is her son, Craig S. Shaw and wife, Tammy, of Roanoke Rapids; sisters, Chapel Statam and Sybil Rome and husband, Claude, both of Albany GA; granddaughters, Caroline Owen and husband, Tommy, and Harley Tomlinson. Also surviving is her great granddaughter, Mackenzie N. Owen and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Serivce from 7-8:30 pm. Rev. Sid Collins will conduct funeral services Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the chapel at Hockaday with interment to follow in Hawkins Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
