Herbert B Reese

Herbert B. Reese, 90 of Hwy 48, Roanoke Rapids passed away Monday, November 7, 2016 at his home.

Mr. Reese was born July 6, 1926 in Nash County to the late James Cornelius Reese and Magnolia Bryant Reese. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Owen M. Reese; his sisters Mae Tripp and Anne Bedgood.

Mr. Reese is survived by his, wife, Molly Joyner Reese; sons, Michael W. Reese and his wife Lucinda of Roanoke Rapids and Roy Warwick and wife Christy of Gasburg, VA; his grandchildren, Braxton Reese and wife Amy, Lance Reese and wife Angel, Travis Reese and wife Annie, Aaron Warwick and Eathan Warwick; his great-grandchildren, Courtney, Katie, Owen, Logan, Dylan, Hayden, Jakob and Lily; his brother, J.W. Reese; his sisters, Rachel Harlow and Jeanette Clary all of Roanoke Rapids.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 11, 2016 at Crestview Memorial Cemetery with Greg Hand, Minister officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30- 1:30 P.M. Friday at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service..
