Helen Corinne Fuller Wheeler

Mrs. Helen Corinne Fuller Wheeler, 87, of Hendersonville, NC and formerly of Roanoke Rapids, died June 19, 2021 at Pardee Memorial Hospital in Hendersonville.

A long time member of Calvary Baptist Church, her career covered over 20 years in motel management on the Outer Banks of NC; and, 10 years with the H&R Block Tax office.  Her greatest joy was spending time with friends and family, and special memories of the beach.

Helen is survived by her sister, Alise Wrenn of Emporia, VA; son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Sue Wheeler of Horse Shoe, NC; daughter, Sandra Wheeler of Hendersonville; son and daughter-in-law, TJ and Mhay Wheeler of Morristown, TN; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Washington Fuller and Cornel Johnson Fuller; brothers and sisters, Archie Fuller, Sam Fuller, Frances Daniels, Earle Rickes, Etheleen Floyd; son, Paul Wheeler; and grandson, Billy Hardison.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 23, 2021, from the graveside at Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids, with Mr. Robert McLaughlin presiding.  Friends may visit with the family following the service.
