Hattie Magdalen Wrenn

Hattie Magdalen Norwood Wrenn, 93, died Sunday, August 15,2021, at Vidant North Hospital in Roanoke Rapids.

Mrs. Wrenn was born in Northampton County, May 14, 1928, daughter to the late Littleton Urih and Hattie Garner Norwood. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wrenn was preceded in death by her husband, James Parker Wrenn and son, Tommy Ray Wrenn.

Surviving is her daughter, Patricia W. Newman of South Hill, VA; sister, Ruth Reams of LaCrosse, VA; grandchildren, Angela Kinker and husband, Bill, Parker Newman, Herbert Newman, Jr., Todd Wrenn and his special friend, Brittney, along with 8 great grandchildren. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Rev. Sue Owens will conduct funeral services in the chapel at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Services Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends immediately following the chapel service, also at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service. A private burial will take place at a later time.
