Gloria Jean Sneed Jenkins

Gloria Jean Sneed Jenkins, 63 of Roanoke Rapids passed away Monday, February 29, 2016 at her home with her loved ones.

Gloria was born November 4, 1952 in Winston-Salem, NC. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Richard T. Sneed, Jr. and Alan Sneed.

She is survived by her parents: Richard T. Sneed, Sr. and Erma Jean Sneed of Winston-Salem; two daughters: Angela Jenkins and fianc Mike Fisher of Roanoke Rapids and Stephanie Kidd of Rocky Mount; her son: J.W. Jenkins and his fianc Brandi Grant of Roanoke Rapids; her grandchildren: Jefferey Sneed, Caitlin Thorpe, Haley Brooke Fisher, Dillon Jenkins, Hayden Jenkins, Brantley Jenkins, Jacob, Rhiannon and Jonathan Morphies;; her step-grandchildren: Taylor and Chasity Wheeler; her great granddaughter: Chloe Love; her ex-husband Joe Jenkins of Roanoke Rapids; along with many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 3, 2016 at New Life Church of Christ with Billy Meinsen, Minister officiating. Interment will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 9:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service and other times at the home.
