Geraldine Ferguson Hannah

Geraldine Ferguson Hannah, also known as “Queenie Deenie,” 79, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away on August 17, 2022. She died at Vidant Edgecombe Hospital.

She was predeceased by her parents, Moses Ferguson and Virginia Allen Ferguson, as well as her siblings Linwood Ferguson, Carlton Ferguson, Amerlius Miles, and Virginia Diane Ferguson.

Furthermore, she is survived by her husband, David Earl Hannah Jr., of 32 years, as well as her siblings Margaret Elaine Ferguson Joyner, Meredith Arlene Mitchell, Allen Ray Ferguson, Glen Ferguson, and Judy Mitchell. She left behind two special nieces, Nicole Mitchell Jenkins and Taylor Mitchell, as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held in her honor at 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 30 at Valley Community Church, 1215 Julian R Allsbrook Hwy, Weldon, NC 27890. Minister Bruce Collier and Justin Temple will be officiating.
