Geneva Mae Lyles

November 12, 1928 — February 18, 2022

Geneva Lyles, 93, of Roanoke Rapids, NC went to be with the Lord on February 18th, 2022 with her daughter Mattie Tanner by her side. She was born the eldest of 17 children to the late Hattie and Riley Dixon on November 12th, 1928. Geneva was survived by her children Carol Brickhouse and husband Alton Brickhouse, Kelly Lyles, Mattie Tanner and her husband Rodney Tanner, and Travis Lyles. Her grand children Alton Brickhouse, Stephanie Warren and husband Henry warren, Charles Tanner, Jacob and Chloe Lyles; 3 great grandchildren James Jones, Hunter and Ryland Warren. Her survived siblings are Paul Dixon, wife Naomi Dixon, and children, Mildred Dixon and children, Vira Beckham and children, Raymond Dixon, wife Dorothy Dixon, and children.

Geneva Lyles was a devoted Christian and loved by all. She attended the Roanoke Rapids Church Of God for 57 years where she found her Christian home.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday February 23, 2022 from 6:00-7:30 pm. At the Roanoke Rapids Church Of God, 1017 Rapids Street, Roanoke Rapids, NC.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Roanoke Rapids Church Of God.

Burial will follow in Crestview Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids.

Afterwards, we will have food for Family and friends at the Roanoke Rapids Church Of God.
