Gary Eugene Birdsong

Gary Eugene Birdsong, 81 of Knightdale, North Carolina passed away peacefully on Thursday February 27, 2025. Gary was born on May 22, 1943, in Halifax County. He was preceded in death by his parents Rufus and Margaret Birdsong and sister Vickie Birdsong Price.

He is survived by his son Shane Birdsong, daughter Angel Marie Birdsong, grandchildren Alicia, Josh, Jake, Hailey, 4 great grandchildren, nieces Terry Lewis (Billy), Cathy Jones (Mark), Cristel Vaughan (Chris), great nephews and nieces Billy (Tina), April, Steven, Bryan,  Camaron, Tori, and Jaci.

Gary loved Harley Davison motorcycles, but most important he loved spreading the gospel of Jesus on college campus in the triangle area.

The family will have a graveside service on Tuesday March 4, 2025, at 11:00am in Cedarwood Cemetery. Pastor Jason Yeatts will be presiding.
