Frank Lonesky, Jr.

Frank Lonesky, Jr., 63, of Roanoke Rapids passed away Monday, April 1, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family.  Frank was born in Halifax County on November 18, 1960, to the late Frank Lonesky, Sr. and Lucy Marian DeBerry Lonesky.  He is also preceded in death by his brother-in-law Edwin McDaniel.

Frank was a member of Harvest Temple Pentecostal Holiness Church.  He worked in construction all his life and was employed with CD Williams Construction Company for the majority of his career.

Frank is survived by his wife Hope Carter Lonesky; his sons Kyle Lonesky (Brittany) and Nick Lonesky; his daughter Brandy L. Davis (Marcus); his grandchildren Hayley, Bryson, Carter, and Finley; his brother Kevin Lonesky; his sisters Debbie L. Buckner (Jeff) and Cindy L. McDaniel; his mother-in-law Penny White (Wayne); his sisters-in-law Tracy Rose (Dusty) and Tammy Perkinson (Perk); his fur babies Levi and Piper; and several nieces and nephews.

A special thanks to his sister-in-law Tammy Perkinson for the compassionate care she gave on a daily basis, as well as Paula, Lisa, Peggy.  Also, a special thanks to Gentiva Hospice for their compassionate care.

The funeral service will be at 11:00AM Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Harvest Temple Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Randy Martin and Rev. Wayne White officiating. A visitation will be Wednesday night from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Harvest Temple Pentecostal Holiness Church.  Interment will follow at Cedarwood Cemetery.
